Virtual Make-Up: Foundation
Foundation works by adding a background color to the head and body and then dropping the texture strength much like real makeup. This assumes you are using a High Resolution texture map - if not, you may need to adjust the texture strength back to 100%. I also like to set the Highlight color to 24/33/48 and the Ambient color to 41/42/44. The highlight color gives a slight shine to the face and the ambient color adds a slight Radiosity effect when I use my favorite lights which are set for 235/244/251 to mimic a Photographer's flashbulb. (Source for lightcolor: Bill Fleming's "Advanced 3D Photorealism Toolkit".) The differences are subtle, but effective.

Here is a closeup to show the difference:

Let's see what changed:
The Object Color was set to Beige Bisque (RGB = 233/206/187), the texture map strength was dropped to 75% and the bump strength was dropped to 50%. The same color was also added to the eyebrows and the body to maintain an overall color change. Once you have the color you like you can save as a Pose file in the Poser Library and convert to a MAT pose file for later use.
